Jesus said that men ought always to pray and not to faint! He gave his

 

followers the perfect prayer when He told them to say:

 

"Our Father in Heaven, hollowed be Your name.

 

Your Kingdom come, Your will be done in earth as it is in Heaven.

 

Give us this day our daily bread.  Forgive us our sins as we forgive those

 

who sin against us.

 

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

 

For Yours is the Kingdom and the power, and the glory forever.

We call this the "perfect prayer" because it is the very words that Jesus said to use as we pray.    It is impossible to miss His will in praying if we follow His instructions and start our praying with this prayer.  Then the Holy Spirit is free to lead us in any other praying that our Lord would have pray!  God bless!
